About Us Whycantistop.com as concept comes from a shared curiosity about culture, and current events. Founders wanted to have a place in the e-world to call their own, a place where they could play in the traffic, by sharing ideas in order to praise, rant, or learn. The scope of our site includes history, politics, literature and arts, personalities, technology and innovation. While we look at global topics, we also observe the close at hand, the North San Francisco Bay county of Marin. To us the collective consciousness here seems formed by an awareness of Marin's outstanding natural beauty, the acceptance of religious diversity, and the celebration of freedom of thought sponsoring both artistic expression and the sustainability of our environment. While some call Marin “privileged” and “beautiful”, we know also that it displays fascinating contrasts and that it faces unique challenges. I love design, history, reading, music, and learning new stuff. Declan J. Harrigan Declan J. Harrigan was born in Boston, Massachusetts as a kid he moved to Aberdeen, Washington amidst the explosion of the post-punk/grunge scene. After high school Declan moved to San Francisco to attend school at SF State. Declan currently works on our staff as a political commentator and restaurant critic. A devout pagan Declan hopes to one day have a successful career as a children’s book author.

Not only am I an active student at Dominican University of California, but I am also a sports writer for the school paper.
